The Myth of Loki

Baldur, the God of truth and light, was adored in Asgard but haunted by dark visions of his death.

To safeguard him, his mother, Queen Frigg, secured a vow from all creatures and elements not to harm her son.

At a celebration of Baldur's invincibility, the jealous trickster Loki discovered that mistletoe had not pledged safety.

Loki tricked Baldur's blind brother Hodur into striking Baldur with a mistletoe dart, causing his downfall.

Desolation spread throughout the realms, yet Hermod the Brave sought to rescue Baldur from the underworld.

Hel, the Underworld's Queen, set a condition: if every being wept for Baldur, she would release him.

All mourned but for a giant, actually Loki in disguise, who refused to weep – thus sealing Baldur's fate.

Loki's laughter betrayed him, and the gods punished him with eternal torment, chained beneath a venomous serpent.

Just like in ancient myths, even the brightest beings aren't immune to the darker twists of fate. 😔

Remember, sometimes what's seemingly insignificant (like a mistletoe!) can be crucial in the grand scheme of things.

And as for Loki, even the cleverest can't evade the consequences of their actions forever.
